New England Best of 50+ Housing Awards Celebrates Design, Architectural Achievements

Weston, MA –  Highland Meadows, a 55+ luxury home community located in Weston, MA, was honored with five Gold Awards by the New England Chapter of the National Association of Home Builders 50+ Housing Council at the “Best of 50+ Housing Awards” held at the Doubletree Boston hotel in Westborough on Wednesday, October 22, 2008.

Highland Meadows took the top honors in the following categories:  Best Home Design (over 2,200 square feet), Best Clubhouse (over 4,000 square feet), Best Design Studio, Best Website, and Best Interior Merchandising of a Model Home (over 2,200 square feet).

The Best Home Design and Best Interior Merchandising awards both were presented for the Case Model home, a 5,200 square foot home with luxury living features including a Billiards Room, Theatre Room, Wine Room, Her Serenity Room with sauna, and a custom Mahogany Study.  The award for Best Clubhouse (under construction) honored the community’s Meetinghouse, a 6,000 square foot clubhouse that features a teaching and catering kitchen, Library, Club Room, and bluestone terrace with fieldstone hearth.  Additional amenities in this lovely space include a fully equipped fitness center with spa, juice bar, Pilates & yoga studio, and massage therapy room.

Highland Meadows is a 69-home active adult community situated on 44-acres of fields and wooded hillside off of Highland Street near Weston Center.  The community features single-family condominiums and townhomes, and offers a maintenance-free lifestyle.  Highland Meadows held the Grand Opening of its Model Home and Design Studio in May 2008.
